Coronavirus – A Note for Our Clients

We believe there has been a lot of hysteria whipped up by the media recently, regarding the Coronavirus and its risks. Whilst we appreciate you should listen to the latest official statements and advice, we feel you should ignore the false stories, fake news and disinformation that is circulating on Social media platforms. The plain truth is, the UK is not in the grip of a mass pandemic.
Basic hygiene routines such as thorough washing of hands, cleaning down surfaces with household cleaners and above all, catching your coughs and sneezes in disposable handkerchiefs is the best 1st line of defence, to stop the virus spreading. It’s the kind of defence we take when regular flus and common colds break out.
Isolation of anyone affected by coughs, sneezes and symptoms of colds or the Corona virus is the best tactic. Stay at home and stop spreading to others will help to control the spread of any nasties. For your information, our office has put in place a simple plan in the event of any of our staff being hit.
(1) those staff members will be isolated at home and continue to work from home wherever possible
(2) client appointments will be suspended and other methods of work put into place (such as by email, video conference, telephone and regular mail services). Your work will still be done
(3) we will monitor the situation and report regularly with updates.
By taking simple precautions and putting in an alternative plan, we hope to continue to support and assist our many clients with minimum disruption, both in the UK and abroad.
